My name is Katalin Mátyás, I'm a UX/UI designer with an engineering and design background. In my work, I focus on human-centered thinking, clear structure, and visually refined solutions. I am especially drawn to projects where the challenge goes beyond designing a single interface and requires understanding and shaping the system as a whole.
I graduated as an Industrial Product and Design Engineer from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Although my studies focused on physical products, the design mindset, structured thinking, and problem-solving process I learned there continue to shape the way I design digital products today.
Early in my career, I worked mainly on UI-focused projects, where I developed a strong sensitivity to visual clarity and attention to detail. As I started working on more complex projects and completed the Insight UX course, my interest gradually shifted toward research and systems thinking: understanding how different functions connect and how complex processes can be transformed into clear and intuitive experiences.
In my work, I always advocate for the user. For me, good design is not only aesthetically pleasing but genuinely useful — creating solutions that make users feel:
